ACORN letter

JOHN McCAIN is an honorable man (although he’d make a terrible president). I’m sure he’d be ashamed of the skulking thief who made off with my Obama lawn sign.
To my neighbors with McCain lawn signs, rest easy. I disagree with you, but I have no plans to steal or vandalize your property. I would consider that contemptible and un-American.

It's sad when this happens. Despite the emotions raging in this election cycle, we should respect each other's views, go vote on the 4th and figure out a way to pull together for the good of the country after it is over.

First of all, I don't know what this has to do with ACORN, and secondly, maybe you'd better check the other editorial about Obama signs being stolen to see who has been the guilty ones. Hint: It ain't McCain people. In case you missed it...

Maybe it's a prank post, maybe not. Who knows?
I'm guessing the ones spraypainting the McCain signs with Nazi swastikas in KC aren't McCain people, either. But I seriously doubt THOSE are pranks....

And people wonder why our leaders cant ever seem to agree on how to run our great nation. The people of little old Emporia cant even seem to work together dispite the differences. It's a shame and yet at the same time, no wonder we are in the shape we are in.

Observation, what we should be working together on is making Emporia a better place, not tearing down or destroying what others have just because we may not agree.
This seems to be the way government works in most cases. (If ya dont agree with me, I'll just tear down the things you believe in)
I guess what I am saying is no one ever wants to compromise
on anything, seems its always "my way or the highway" in politics, same as it is right here in Emporia.

LifeGoesOn, I would agree that's the way our government works these days, and it looks like its gonna get worse. If you don't ask me questions I like, I'll ban everyone in my campaign from doing interviews with your whole station.... (sniff, sniff)........

Observation, I'll try to be as clear as I can, although at times I aint real good at gettin my point across,
No One should be stealing signs out of the neighbors yard, period, People should learn to come together dispite the differences, I may not like the fact you campaign one way or the other, I may not like the signs you put in your yard, I may not agree with your views on how to run the country but if you were needing help to post a campaign sign in your yard because you could not do it yourself, I Would Help, That my friend is working together, being a good neighbor.
We need more good Neighbors in government, just because you dont agree with another, work together for a better community.
My point ," Many" Emporias Citizens dont ever seem to do that and so it is no wonder our Government does not either.

Observation, I give up, I either cant get my point thru to you, you just dont get it OR you just dont want to get it, if it is the last of the three, my point is made, People just want to waste time and get no where, Same as in Government.

Observation lol, not that big of a deal, when I said in my First post
"And people wonder why our leaders cant ever seem to agree on how to run our great nation. The people of little old Emporia cant even seem to work together dispite the differences"
The word "work" was meant to mean "get along" or "not steal" or "be good neighbors"
Thats all
