Monday: Little Piggy or cereal and graham cookies.
Tuesday: biscuit and jelly or cereal and graham cookies.
Wednesday: powdered funnel cake or cereal and graham cookies.
Thursday: burrito or cereal and graham cookies.
Friday: oatmeal bar and muffin or cereal and graham cookie.
LUNCH
Monday: hot dog on a bun, tater tots, broccoli, pineapple tidbits.
Tuesday: grilled cheese sandwich, tossed salad, tropical fruit, Rice Krispy treat.
Wednesday: beef taco meat, soft tortilla, Mexican rice, tossed salad, applesauce.
Thursday: turkey fritter, dinner roll, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, pear half.
Friday: Little Smokies, macaroni and cheese, garlic biscuit, greed beans, orange smiles.
Breakfast is served with juice and milk, lunch is served with milk.
Friendship Meals
Emporia
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. For home delivery, call 340-8001.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: Swedish meatballs, fettucini alfredo, Venitian-blend vegetables, roll, applesauce.
Tuesday: chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, Harvard beets, cranberry-orange fluff.
Wednesday: fish, macaroni and tomatoes, spinach salad, wheat bread, cherry crisp.
Thursday: sloppy joe, pea salad, carrots, bun, pineapple chunks.
Friday: lasagna rollup, Italian vegetables, Texas toast, fruit cocktail.
North Lyon County
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414; Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: hamburger steak, sweet potato fries, lettuce with tomato, bread, apricots.
Tuesday: turkey a la king, cucumbers and onions, biscuits, strawberries with topping.
Wednesday: ham with pineapple, potatoes, succotash, bread, applesauce.
Thursday: oven-fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, Italian-blend vegetables, wheat roll, Waldorf salad.
Friday: Halloween — ghost droppings, mummy’s bed, ghoul’s delight, monster treat.
