Republican Women want names for military care packages

The Lyon County Republican Women are seeking names and addresses of military from this area who are deployed in order to send small personal items, including hotel-motel shampoo, soap, lotion, etc., and paperback books.
The effort is part of a Caring for America Project. Under the project, Republican Women of Kansas are sending care packages to Kansas military men and women in active service.
Donations are welcome to cover postage as each box costs almost $11 to send. Checks may be made out to the Lyon County Republican Women.
Anyone wanting to contribute may take donations to the Lyon County Republican headquarters, 13 E. Sixth Ave. The office is open from 1 to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.
