seems like a small offense to be the most wanted of town for and have your picture on the internet that is normally for horrible people take heart to this man emporia a DUI that is evading privacy of character where is the shame on the real criminals in this town there should be more good people to band together against money and murder I mean watch out, rehab could fix this

His crime is not "only" a DUI. He apparently skipped bail on that one.

The paper says "DUI, fleeing/elude a law enforcement officer, leaving the scene of an accident, driving while suspended, obstruction and probation violation."

This isn't a "new" criminal. This moron knows exactly what he's doing. I wonder what his original crime was for the probation violation.

He's no better than a drug dealer or thief. L-O-S-E-R. (And just so you know, it's not LOOSER).

did he sleep around on you or do feel this way about all the dui offenders. ? You sound as smart as a DJ at a bar?

I mean you must know some unsavory people if a drug dealer or thief are the worst to you. After all looser must be mispelled on your friends again? My message was too real for them.

I was thinking the same thing - wondering about his original crime that got him Probation. I bet house knows - he/she seems to have a soft spot for this person and the "smart as a DJ" comment is simply laughable after reading his/her posts. Then again, I think most DJ's could even run circles around this character on intelligence.

I get so tired of posts that even after re-reading several times I still can't figure out what the person was trying to say because they make no sense.

I heard on one of the most wanted even after being in the paper the police still couldn't figure out they had the person in the paper. They called and ran him by another sought persons name. These guys need another award I'm starting to wonder what it takes to get a award in this town, maybe you could give this new wanted guy a award too!

Our DJ has 2 masters degrees and is working on their third. I would take that as a compliment MelissaE.

d23_66801, I'd be interested which person you are taking about because I'm going to call the sheriff and ask if this has happend recently. They are either in the computer or not. Fingerprints work too. I admit it's been a few years since I retired, but It can't have become that confusing. What do you mean by award? Do you mean reward? Maybe I'm must old but I can't make much sense of what you are trying to offer for a constructive discussion on this thread.

Wow, I do take offense to the "smart as a DJ at the bar" comment. Thanks for sticking up for DJ's Melissa and Josies. I may be a DJ, for fun because I enjoy it, but I also have helped orginize political campaigns (which won I might add), been published in several nationally recognized literary reviews and graduated with honors. So to be "as smart as a DJ at the bar," is actually a compliment.

justthefacts my comment was pretty straight forward. I'm tired of seeing emporia's worst gang (epd) getting commended when they screw up constantly. As for the person I am talking about don't worry about it.

Hey d23_66801
You sound like you dont like law enforcement very well! Everyone makes a mistake now and then. They say a faultless person can only happen in a faultless world. In my younger days i had some run-ins with some of these officers. And yes i was arrested a few times. But these guys have to put up with some to the pointless bs everday, and risk their lives everyday to try and give us a quiet city. If you think you can do better, then get yoursellf to the academy and prove what a worthy an honest member of society you can be. Otherwise praise these guys for the work they do. But yes even the EPD has been know to make a mistake. Are you mistake free?

Quiet city Ha! give me a break if anything the epd adds to the crap that goes on in emporia. As for being guilt free no I am not, but I am not going to suck up to a bunch of crooks just because they went to a acadamy and got a badge. These guys are just showing their ass to prove to the new chief their superiority. oh yeah its not casting a stone, its let those with an opinion voice their opinion. And for the comment about risking lives we all risk our lives everyday some just more than others.

house (anonymous) says...

Sounds like you like those who do not cause crimes josies bar take it easy about a DJ though, and do background checks on the DJ's that are allowed in your bar as workers it is awful what some DJ's have done in this town and not even been held accountable for the fact that they are the last person on earth that should be drinking

josiesbar (anonymous) says...

House,

I have 3 comments and 1 question about your post.
1) Punctuation, please!
2) I DO run background checks on ALL of our employees, even DJ's.
3) Yes, I do like those who do not cause crimes.

Question: Are you on meth?

October 25, 2008 at 4:48 p.m. ( | suggest removal )

house (anonymous) says...

meth you should be checked asking about meth because I ask a simple question about background checks maybe you are real into drugs about a very logical statement to ask me about meth. What is wrong with you?

are those the effects, no one gets checked? Like I said horrible horrible people in this town masquerade around as DJ's

House,

Your comments don't make a bit of sense, coupled with the fact that there is no punctuation to speak of, makes them impossible to understand. I don't know what DJs you are talking about, but if they are that bad, file a report.

Hey d23_66801
Let's see make unsubstantiated claims of misconduct, smear the reputation of hard working law enforcement folks and then when I ask for specifics you say "don't worry about it?" It's this kind of baseless rumor crap that screws up this city. No wonder people won't live here!

Wow, ha ha, this thread has gotten hilarious. What's with all the calling out of DJ's. I've never had a drink on the job while I was DJing and never would, the work is important. I would love for you to point out some bad DJ's most of us are professionals and put alot of time and money into our work.
