Flu Shot Clinic Today

Children as young as 6 months old can receive flu shots during the Lyon County Health Department's third annual flu-vaccination clinic from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at the Lyon County Fairgrounds. The shots cost $20 each and are for people from 6 months of age and older.
The clinic is also training for department personnel in handling large immunization efforts during public-health emergencies.
People seeking immunizations are asked to enter the fairgrounds by the north gate on 12th Avenue and follow the directions of the parking attendants.
To save time at the vaccination clinic, download the Consent for Vaccination form at the health department Web site, www.flinthillshealth.org, complete it and take it to the fairgrounds.
