Remodeling projects at Village and Lowther South Intermediate schools that had been deferred because of budget constraints will be on the agenda for the Emporia board of education meeting. Updates on the projects will be reported when the board meets at 7 p.m. in Mary Herbert Learning Center.
A review of the quarterly budget report and the annual assessment report also are on the agenda.
The board is expected to vote on: a delegate and alternates to the delegate assembly of the Kansas Association of School Boards, a candidate for KASB president-elect, and KASB legislative issues.
The KASB fall regional meeting will be on Thursday at Carbondale. The KASB convention will be Dec. 5 through 7 in Wichita.
