BREAKFAST
Monday: pancake on a stick or cereal and graham cookies.
Tuesday: little smokies and Texas toast with jelly or cereal and graham cookies.
Wednesday: frosted long john and mozzarella cheese stick or cereal and graham cookies.
Thursday: pizza or cereal and graham cookies.
Friday: cereal bar and muffin or cereal and graham cookie.
LUNCH
Monday: cheeseburger on a bun, fries, baby carrots and dip, mandarin oranges.
Tuesday: pizza, tossed salad, strawberries, vanilla wafers.
Wednesday: crispitos, nacho chips with cheese sauce, tossed salad, banana.
Thursday: chicken strips, soft tortilla, chopped vegetables, corn, peach half.
Friday: chili, Frito corn chips, cinnamon roll, green beans, applesauce.
Breakfast is served with juice and milk, lunch is served with milk.
Friendship Meals
Emporia
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. For home delivery, call 340-8001.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: chicken-fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, broccoli salad, wheat roll, peaches.
Tuesday: ham, sweet potato fries, zucchini and tomatoes, rye bread, plums.
Wednesday: chicken cachiatore, pasta, green beans, roll, fruited gelatin.
Thursday: Thamburder on a bun, potato salad, sliced tomato, orange.
Friday: taco salad, cheese, lettuce, black bean salad, tortilla chips, pineapple and mango.
North Lyon County
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414; Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: Polish sausage on a bun, tater triangles, sauerkraut, fruit salad.
Tuesday: pork roast, candied sweet potatoes, green beans, wheat bread, peaches.
Wednesday: chili, tossed salad, crackers and cornbread, pineapple ambrosia.
Thursday: meatballs, masked potatoes, beets, bread, gelatin with fruit.
Friday: sweet and sour chicken with vegetables, rice, wheat bread, creamy orange salad.
