BREAKFAST
Monday: pancake on a stick or cereal and graham cookies.
Tuesday: Little Smokies with Texas toast with jelly or cereal and graham cookie.
Wednesday: frosted long john and mozzarella stick or cereal and graham cookie.
Thursday: pizza or cereal and graham cookie.
Friday: cereal bar and muffin or cereal and graham cookie.
LUNCH
Monday: chicken patty on a bun, fries, baby carrots and dip, mandarin oranges.
Tuesday: fish sandwich, cheesy broccoli, strawberries, ice cream cup.
Wednesday: burrito, nacho chips with cheese sauce, tossed salad, banana.
Thursday: chicken nuggets, dinner roll, cheesy potatoes, corn, peach half.
Friday: spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic french bread, green beans, applesauce.
Breakfast is served with juice and milk, lunch is served with milk.
Friendship Meals
Emporia
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. For home delivery, call 340-8001.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: sloppy joe, bun, potato salad, peas, peaches.
Tuesday: salisbury steak, mashed potaoes, spinach salad, wheat bread, pineapple and mango.
Wednesday: pork roast, candies sweet potatoes, tossed salad, wheat roll, fruited yogurt.
Thursday: white chili, broccoli salad, crackers, pumpkin fluff.
Friday: beef lasagna, Italian vegetables, Texas toast, strawberries and bananas.
North Lyon County
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414; Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: baked fish, au gratin potatoes, Scandinavian-blend vegetables, bread, peaches.
Tuesday: chicken alfredo, noodles, broccoli, garlic bread, fruited gelatin.
Wednesday: roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, mixed vegetables, wheat roll, apple dumplings.
Thursday: salisbury steak with gravy, baked potato, beets, bread, fruit, cookie.
Friday: beef and noodles, green beans, wheat bread, fruit and marshmallow cream.
