Helping in Houston

Benjamin M. Hornung, a junior studying biology at the University of Kansas will spend the winter break as a site leader for the AIDS Foundation in Houston, Texas. Hornung is one of 63 KU students who volunteered to help with projects in public health, disabilities, education, human rights and housing repair and construction at various sites. He is the son of Joel and Jeanette Hornung of Council Grove and a graduate of Council Grove High School.
