Helping others
Applebee’s Neighborhood Grille and Bar and the Village Inn restaurant, both owned and operated by Concord Neighborhood Corp., are working with SOS Casa of the Flint Hills in a Trees of Hope campaign during the 2008 holiday season. The Trees of Hope campaign has been developed to assist local organizations in collecting toys and necessities for children and families in need. Customers at either restaurant can choose a tag from the tree, purchase a gift and return it to the restaurant by the date listed on the back of the tag, for distribution.
