Man dies at Pomona Lake

A 20-year-old man died this weekend at Pomona State Park of a possible lightning strike.
According to a press release by the Osage County Sheriff’s Department, Nathan Sullivan of Raymore, Mo., was found dead at the park early Saturday morning.
The death is being investigated by the Osage County Sheriffs Department and the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks. Three other people were transported to Overland Park Regional Medical Center with injuries possibly caused by lightening. The three victims were treated and released. Their names are Adam C. Peterson of Belton, Mo.; Brennan N. Derby of Peculier, Mo.; and Matthew B. King of Raymore, Mo.
