WICHITA -- Northern Heights senior Jacquelyne Leffler won her fourth straight Class 3A discus title on Friday at the State track and field meet.
All six of Leffler's throws were good enough to win the title, but it was her first throw of the day that stole the show. With her heave of 157 feet, 7 inches, Leffler set the Class 3A meet record in the event. That throw would end up being her top throw on the day.
Leffler will go for four straight titles in the shot put at 9:45 a.m. Saturday.
