Library hours change
The Emporia Public Library will change from winter hours to summer hours on Tuesday. The library will be open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays; 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesdays; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays; and 2 to 5 p.m. Sundays.
Hartford alumni gathering
The elder alumni of Hartford High School will meet Friday and Saturday at the Guesthouse Inn (formerly the Holiday Inn), 2700 W. 18th Ave.
The group includes all graduates up to and including 1957, and their spouses, friends and relatives. All Hartford alumni and friends may join in at 2:30 p.m. Those who choose to pay for a light buffet at 5:30 p.m. are asked to make reservations.
No formal activities are scheduled on Saturday, and those who attend may visit or participate in activities of their own choice. For more information or to make reservations, call 412-2198.
