Teen chef ranks high

Aldo Sandoval rewarded for talent, skills

Emporia teenager Aldo Sandoval placed second among 32 entries at the National Best Teen Chef 2008 competition on Saturday in Las Vegas.

Sandoval is a 2008 graduate of Emporia High School, and attended the Flint Hills Technical College, as well as general education classes for college credits this year.
