Good bug to catch
The Emporia Public Library Summer Reading Program for children, “Catch the Reading Bug!” begins with registration on May 23.
A Kick-Off Celebration will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. May 28 at the library. Children are encouraged to keep track of the minutes they read each week during the summer months. Prizes will be given for every 100 minutes read, with grand prizes awarded for the readers who have read the most total minutes during the summer.
