We would like to thank the following businesses and members of the community for their generous contributions to the Caide Timmons Taco fundraiser, to help pay for Caide’s and his family’s expenses for their daily trips to Kansas City for his radiation treatment:
Taco Bell (both locations), La Hacienda, Casa Ramos, and Tortilla King, all for contributing tortillas; Fanestil Meats, for all the pork; Tyson Fresh Meats for all the hamburger; Reeble’s Country Mart North for beans and vegetables; and Victoria Vaughn for her monetary contribution toward other supplies.
We would like to thank all the volunteers that helped stuff and roll the tacos and burritos. Thank you for your time to help us make the 1600 tacos and burritos.
Thank you to everyone in the community who supported the Timmons family by purchasing tacos and burritos or by giving monetary donations.
As the community pulled together to support this family we were able to raise $3,600 for the family.

What a nice thing to do for fellow Emporians. It's good to hear of something good being done for our people by our community, as it seems it's been all gloom and doom on the news for too long..
Thank you Ms. Wyatt and those businesses and individuals involved.
What will this money be used for?
