- QuickBooks Fundamentals, May 7-8, 1-5 p.m., $89. QuickBooks is designed for the potential or current small to midsized business owner who enjoys Quicken’s ease of use but prefers a more traditional approach to accounting. Learn how this well-designed program can make it a snap to set up a chart of accounts, reconcile your checking account, create and print invoices, receipts, and statements, track your payables, inventory, and receivables, create estimates, and generate reports. - Basic Woodcarving I for beginning carvers, $125, June 7, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., June 8, 1-5 p.m. Basic woodcarving techniques and the use of a standard woodcarving set will help get you going right away with your wood carving training. A simple relief or project “in-the-round” will be carved and painted. Tools and materials are purchased in advanced. Materials Cost: You will need to buy a basic set of carving tools and materials prior to class. Taught by master craftsman Millard Harrell.
