Olpe track and field squad competes at Madison Invitational

The Olpe High School track and field team competed at the Madison Invitational track meet last Friday, with the girls team finishing second out of 15 schools while the boys placed sixth in the team standings.
Once again, Olpe’s distance runners placed high in the final standings.
Katelyn Henderson won the 1,600-meter run in a time of 5 minutes, 47.21 seconds, while Sharon Zeller was the runner-up in the 3,200-meter run (12:39.90) Kelsey Camien finished second in the 800-meter run (2:35.52) and Katheryn Flott placed second in the 400-meter dash (1:07.75).
