Rummage sale at church
The Emporia Church of the Nazarene will have a rummage sale from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Potter-Beath hall adjacent to the church, 2931 W. 24th Ave.

Garage sales
The City-Wide Garage Sale will be held from 7:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday in Melvern. The PRIDE organization will be set up in the Community Center with a garage sale and food sale. Other garage sales will be throughout the community, with some set up in the city park. There also will be a Pancake Feed in City Hall held by two girls from MdCV who will attend the Washington Leadership Conference this spring.
Pancakes
The Melvern PRIDE Pancake Feed will be from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday with all one can eat for $5. Proceeds will be used for the spring clean-up and PRIDE community projects.
Penny supper
The Hartford United Methodist Women will serve their Penny Supper beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday at the church. Foods include chicken pie, barbecued brisket, ham loaf, a variety of vegetables, salads, pies and homemade ice cream. Each item is priced individually, with proceeds to be used for church projects.
