‘Nobody doesn’t like Sara Lee’

An article posted Sunday in Chicago Business speculates that Interstate Bakeries could be a good acquisition for Sara Lee. The article by David Sterrett says that Sara Lee’s chief executive officer is looking for acquisition possibilities. Interstate Bakeries owns Emporia’s Dolly Madison plant.
Acquiring Interstate Bakeries, maker of Wonder bread, Hostess cupcakes and Twinkies, would help Sara Lee distribute its products nationwide. Currently, Sara Lee has 9.5 percent of the U.S. bread market. Interstate has 9.1 percent.

And exactly how is Sara Lee part of Pepsi/Frito-Lay? If it isn't, my money is on the deal not happening. The head guy is only looking to line the pockets of his Pepsi-Frito-Lay buddies.
