Emporia State’s Michelle Stueve added another All-America honor on Thursday, as she was named a Daktronics All-American.
Stueve was selected to the second team by a vote of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
The 6-foot-2 forward is the only Division-II player to be named a WBCA State Farm All-American, a Daktronics All-American and an ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American.
This is the third straight year Stueve earned All-America distinction from CoSIDA. She was a second-team selection in 2005-06 and a third-team selection in 2006-07.
Stueve was in the top 10 nationally in scoring, three-point field-goal percentage and made 3-pointers. She also was a unanimous selection for MIAA Most Valuable Player this season.
During Stueve’s career, ESU went 100-27 with three trips to the Sweet 16 and one appearance in the Elite Eight.
