Two men pleaded guilty this week to federal charges of stealing food from the Tyson Foods warehouse in Olathe where they worked, according to a news release from Jim Cross, public information officer for U.S. Attorney Eric Melgren in Wichita.
Cross said that Humberto Antonio Gallardo, 34, of Peculiar, Mo., and Osie B. Cobbs, 44, of Kansas City, Mo., each pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit interstate transportation of stolen property.
Gallardo is scheduled to be sentenced on June 16. Cobbs’ sentencing is to be on June 23.
Each man faces a maximum penalty of five years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000.
