Emporia State's Michelle Stueve became a three-time First-Team All-American on Tuesday.
Michelle Stueve added to her growing list of accomplishments on Tuesday, earning First-Team All-America honors for the third consecutive season.
The Emporia State senior was named to the 10-person WBCA State Farm All-America team. She was the only MIAA player on the list.
Stueve finished her career with the most points in Lady Hornet history (2,403), breaking Carolyn Richard’s old mark of 2,378.
The Olpe native also ended her career with 1,040 rebounds.
Stueve was second in the MIAA in scoring this season with 21.7 points per game and third in rebounding, pulling down 8.7 boards per contest.
She also was named this year’s MIAA Most Valuable Player. It was the first time in her career that she earned that honor.
Franklin Pierce’s Johannah Leedham was named the National Player of the Year, while South Dakota’s Chad Lavin earned the National Coach of the Year distinction.
