All-Star basketball game to be held Saturday

The annual Flint Hills Optimist All-Star high school basketball games will be played this Saturday night at White Auditorium.
The teams are made up of a collection of high school seniors from the Emporia area and the surrounding communities in the Flint Hills.
The girls game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. with the boys game to follow at approximately 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for junior high and high school students.
The coaches for the girls game are Amanda Cunningham and Amanda Gutierrez, while the boys’ coaches are Brett Stewart and Brad Stewart.
