Emporia Schools
BREAKFAST
Monday: cereal and muffin or PopTarts.
Tuesday: sausage and cheese biscuit or cereal and graham cookies.
Wednesday: drizzled scone or cereal and graham cookies.
Thursday: pizza or cereal and graham crackers.
Friday: pancake stick or cereal and graham crackers.
LUNCH
Monday: chicken parmesan, garlic biscuit, tater tots, baby carrots and dip, mandarin oranges.
Tuesday: K-6 hot dog, 7-12 pigs in a blanket, fries, strawberries, banana cake.
Wednesday: crispitos, nacho chips, cheese sauce, tossed salad, applesauce.
Thursday: turkey fritter, mashed potatoes and gravy, dinner roll, corn, peach half.
Friday: mini shrimp poppers, macaroni and cheese, green beans, orange smiles.
Friendship Meals
EMPORIA
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: sloppy joe, pea salad, mixed vegetables, bun, pears.
Tuesday: turkey tetrazzini, zucchini and tomatoes, rosy applesauce, wheat roll, cookie.
Wednesday: meat loaf, baked potato, Sicilian blend vegetables, roll, cherry dessert.
Thursday: Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, Italian green beans, wheat bread, pudding.
Friday: hamburger, sliced tomato, macaroni salad, bun orange.
NORTH LYON COUNTY
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414; Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: chicken-fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, mixed vegetables, roll, strawberries.
Tuesday: turkey casserole, corn, bread, carrifruit salad, crispy rice bar.
Wednesday: meat loaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, beets, wheat bread, fluffy fruit salad.
Thursday: oven-fried chicken, broccoli-rice au gratin, wheat bread, cinnamon apples.
Friday: roast beef, parslied potatoes, wax beans, wheat roll, fruit cobbler.
