The presentation of the Buxton retail development study has been pushed back for a third time, City Manager Matt Zimmerman announced Wednesday.
The study, commissioned by the city to develop retail recruitment strategies, is now scheduled for Friday, April 4 at noon at the Lee Beran Recreation Center.
The latest pushback occurred because Lisa Hill, the Buxton territorial business manager in charge of the Emporia study, couldn’t secure a flight that would allow her to make the presentation on March 28, Zimmerman said.

This does not make sense because airline flights can be booked with less than an hour notice, much less 8 days.
