ESU ends season with Sweet 16 loss

The Lady Hornets fell behind 19-10 before using a 7-0 run to make it 19-17 with 8:43 left in the first half.
ESU fell behind 39-24 with 16 minutes left in the game before posting a 9-0 spurt to make it 39-33.
The Lady Hornets would get the deficit down to 52-49 with 6 minutes left, but would come no closer.
ESU had 14 first-half turnovers.
Michelle Stueve had 25 points in her final game for ESU.
WU's Corkey Stiger has 31 points.

great great season for ESU and Washburn. It was a 6 point game but Hornets had to foul to give them a chance. Couple of baskets/TO/RB could have made the difference. Both teams can hold their heads high!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How hard is it to play at this level every every year. Thanks Thanks Thanks
