The Singing Saints

The Singing Saints, the 50-voice concert choir of St. Paul Lutheran High School of Concordia, Mo., under the direction of William L. Gasau, will present a concert of sacred music at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1101 Neosho St. There is no charge for admission, but offerings will be accepted to help with travel expenses. The choir has performed more than 1,000 concerts in Lutheran churches and schools in 28 states and Canada during the last 35 years. All are welcome to attend.

Prayer walk

The community is invited to the annual Messiah Lutheran Lenten Prayer Walk taking place from Maundy Thursday through Easter Sunday morning. This prayer experience will guide you to revisit the “Signs of Lent,” said the church news release. “Each room is complete with Scripture readings, contemplative reflections, an interactive response and prayer. Give yourself permission to slow down for a few minutes. What does Jesus mean to you in the midst of grief, job loss, health issues, questions of faith and — just life. Come, rest, pray.”
