The hurler had a perfect game into the fifth inning and ended up striking out 15 batters.
In Game Two, ESU received more production on offense, as it scored three runs in both the second and fifth innings to take control.
Jessie Wiard led ESU, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and a run scored.
Angela Mahan and Miranda Campbell both added two hits each.
The Hornets (8-8) are scheduled to play games at 2 and 4 p.m. today at the Old Softball Hornet Field, located north of I-35 on the ESU campus.
