Tuesday: ham and cheese biscuit or cereal and graham cookies.
Wednesday: funnel cake or cereal and graham cookies.
Thursday: burrito or cereal and graham crackers.
Friday: in-service, no school.
LUNCH
Monday: cheeseburger on a bun, fries, broccoli florets and dip, pineapple tidbits.
Tuesday: bosco sticks, Italian mixed vegetables, tropical fruit, shamrock cookie.
Wednesday: chicken fajita, soft tortilla, Mexican rice, tossed salad, apple wedges.
Thursday: chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, dinner roll, corn, peaches, yogurt.
Friday: in-service, no school.
Friendship Meals
EMPORIA
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: chicken casserole, lettuce salad, spinach, wheat bread, fruit cocktail.
Tuesday: spaghetti with meat sauce, Italian vegetables, Texas toast, gelatin with applesauce.
Wednesday: oven-fried chicken leg, Kansas corn, Key largo vegetables, wheat roll, cherry fluff.
Thursday: pulled pork on a bun, baked potato, broccoli, scalloped apples.
Friday: fish, macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, bread, plums.
NORTH LYON COUNTY
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414; Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: Polish sausage, oven-browned potatoes, sauerkraut, bread, mandarin oranges.
Tuesday: oven-fried chicken, bread dressing, green beans, wheat bread, strawberries with topping.
Wednesday: spaghetti with meat sauce, Italian blend vegetables, garlic bread, baked apple.
Thursday: pork roast, baked potato, wax beans with pimento, wheat bread, heavenly hash salad.
Friday: baked fish, rice pilaf, peas and pearl onions, wheat bread, easy fruit dessert.
