Top-seeded Olpe girls, Northern Heights girls lose at State

The No. 1-seeded Olpe Lady Eagles lost in the first round of the Class 1A State Tournament in Hays on Thursday, falling to Wheatland-Grinnell, 58-55, in overtime.
The loss ends Olpe's season with a 25-1 record.
In Class 3A at Hutchinson, the Northern Heights Ladycats ended their season with a 50-34 loss to Cimarron.
Heights ends its season with a 15-9 record.

A three Lyon Co girls' teams went down today. They should all hold their heads high for being Sub State Champions they are and accomplishing what the other teams in their league didn't do, get to State.
Congrats to all three teams for a successful year.
