Extension open house is next week

The Lyon County Extension Office will celebrate its new home with an open house Monday at 2632 W. Highway 50.
The open house will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday.
“We are very pleased to finally be in the new extension office,” said Brian Creager, executive board chair. “It is a great opportunity for (the) extension with outstanding access and visibility, located just off the corner of the fairgrounds.”
A come-and-go reception is planned for the afternoon with light refreshments. The public is invited to come take a tour of the office and learn about programs the extension has to offer.
The Lyon County Extension Office moved into its new building earlier this year.
