Olpe, Heights boys advance to State semifinals
Eagles defeat Natoma, 58-47; Wildcats beat Galena, 72-68

The Olpe boys advanced to the semifinals of the Class 1A State semifinals with a 58-47 victory over Natoma in the first round Wednesday in Hays.
The second-seeded Eagles will play third-seeded Hanover at 4:45 p.m. Friday.
In Hutchinson at the Class 3A tournament, the third-seeded Northern Heights boys came from behind to defeat sixth-seeded Galena, 72-68.
Heights will face No. 2-seeded Wichita Trinity Academy at 4:45 p.m. Thursday.

Those Northern Heights boys should be highly commended. They came back from a 16 point deficit late in the 3rd quarter and won that game big time. I think every one of those guys really stepped up their games, namely Hanks, Symmonds, and Parks.

Park's dunk ignited the team, and finally got them to playing their style of ball. It also helped when galena's top three players fouled out. Congrats Wildcats, two to go. See you over on the 07 site slim.
