Fruits, vegetables in Angel Food bonus boxes

The order schedules for Angel Food Ministries deliveries in July have been adjusted slightly because of the July 4th holiday.
Each box of Angel Food costs $30, tax included, and is available to the public without income or other restrictions. The food has a retail value between $60 and $70 each month, sponsors said.
Orders at the Emporia Church of the Nazarene, 2931 W. 24th Ave., will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 5, and Monday, July 7.
Orders at Grace United Methodist will be received from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and from 2 to 6 p.m. on Thursday. The Grace office also is open for orders from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday through July 7.
The Emporia Presbyterian Church and Americus Presbyterian Church, 802 Commercial St., will accept orders from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday.
Orders may be placed at the Americus United Presbyterian Church from 2 to 6 p.m. both Tuesday and Wednesday.
Only cash is accepted at Americus. In Emporia, cash, money orders or Vision cards may be used. No checks are accepted at any locations.
The food will be delivered July 19, with times and places set by the sponsoring churches.
Each standard box in the July delivery will contain:
40 oz. Marie Callender’s Family Crock Pot Dinner with meat included, 1.5 lb. boneless pork filet, 5 lb. breaded chicken chunks, 1.5 lb. meaty beef ribs, 28 oz. meatloaf and gravy, 1 lb. beef fajitas, 1 lb. fully cooked meatballs, 1 lb. all-meat hot dogs, 1 lb. broccoli, 1 lb. peas and carrots, 28 oz. pasta sauce, 1 lb. pasta, 2 lbs. Borden 2 percent shelf-stable milk, 32 oz. Hawaiian Punch, 12 corn tortillas, 7-oz. blueberry muffin mix, 1 dozen eggs and 1 dessert item.
Bonus boxes also may be purchased with the purchase of one regular Angel Food box.
Those boxes contain: seven pounds of assorted grill meat, including New York strip steaks, boneless netted Boston Butt roast, meaty beef ribs and mild Italian sausage, for $20; 4.5-pound steak-and-chicken combo box, including K.C. strips, bone-in ribeyes, and bacon-wrapped chicken filet, $20; 10 pounds of breaded chicken breast tenders, $18; fresh fruit and vegetables, containing corn-on-the-cob, carrots, yellow onions, lettuce, pineapple, strawberries, watermelon and potatoes, $16.
