Art Institute graduate
Brandon Balkenhol graduated from the University of Arkansas in March. He works for Tyson Food Corporate Office in Fayetteville, Ark. He is the son of former Emporians Jay and Sherry Balkenhol and grandson of Jake and Lois Balkenhol of Emporia.
Kathryn Balkenhol graduated June 14, 2008, from the San Francisco Art Institute. She is the daughter of Ricci Balkenhol and the late Barry Balkenhol. She is the granddaughter of Norma Stinnett and Jake and Lois Balkenhol of Emporia.
Dean’s honor roll
Emporians named to the Hutchinson Community College spring 2008 Dean’s Honor Roll included Tatyana Cristobal, Jake McCracken and Robyn Sadowski. Students listed on the Dean’s Honor Roll have grade-point averages of 3.5 to 3.999.
