The coach pitch/T-ball games began June 2, at the pool park field. The games are played at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. Monday and Thursday nights throughout the month of June.
The softball and baseball games have started at the grade school diamond. Community members are invited to come out and support the teams.
Americus Recreation Organization officers are Marcia Johnson, Tim Delcamp, Melissa Rich, Denise King and Josh Hamlin. They meet at 6 p.m. the first Wednesday of the month at city hall.
