Lyon County Commission
The Lyon County Commission will meet for a study session at 8 a.m. Wednesday in the Lyon County Commission chambers of the Lyon County Courthouse. Items on the agenda include:
F 8:30 a.m. — Brian Rees, of the Lyon County Extension Office, discuss the 2009 budget.
F 8:45 a.m. — Rick Frevert, of Lyon County Emergency Management, will review contracts for IMT equipment.
F 9 a.m. — Chip Woods, Lyon County engineer, will discuss the purchase of a used rock bucket for $1,800; discuss purchasing approximately 1,000 feet of used steel casing at $14 a foot for a total of $14,000; discuss road closing to repair the low water crossing at Road 380 between Road U5 and Road W and discuss cleaning large windrow and dirt from road at Road M from Road 160 going 3/4 mile.
