Emporia Main Street will hold a late spring clean up day to clean up the downtown area. Anyone interested can meet at the Emporia Main Street office, 12 E. Fifth Ave. at 5:20 p.m. Bring work gloves.
“We’re also encouraging citizens of Emporia and businesses to kinda do their own spring cleaning,” Said Kayla Oney, of Emporia Main Street. “We’re going to have a downtown clean up but are reminding people to keep their own yards (up) and make Emporia look beautiful.”
