Degrees transfer to universities

Flint Hills Technical College administration and staff have been working diligently to develop articulation agreements to facilitate transferability of credits from FHTC to universities in Kansas. Becoming accredited through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) has allowed seamless transferability of credits to other post-secondary institutions. A variety of general education classes taught at FHTC will transfer to the universities.
Emporia State University and Kansas State University will accept college algebra, English composition i, public speaking and introduction to psychology. The University of Kansas will accept college algebra, public speaking and introduction to psychology.
Pittsburg State University recently signed an articulation agreement with FHTC that will allow students completing their associate of applied science degree at FHTC to transfer all applicable credits to PSU into their bachelor of applied science degree in their division of technology. Also accepting associate of applied science degrees are Fort Hays State and Washburn universities.
