Lunch is served
The Melvern Methodist Church will serve the first Penny Lunch of the season from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. There will be a choice of salads, deviled eggs, hot ground beef or sloppy joe sandwiches, along with choices of pie, angel food cake and/or homemade ice cream.
Card shower
The family of Gladys Myers requests a card shower for Myers’ 80th birthday, which is on June 19. Cards can be sent to Gladys Myers, 2251 Road H-5, Americus, KS 66835.
