Our grandaughter, Jennifer, had a mild seizure while eating at Carlos O’Kelly’s restaurant recently. We can’t thank enough the staff and customers for their help, care and concern. Having two Emporia law enforcement officers eating lunch at that time was certainly part of God’s plan for her care. Their knowledge and assistance was greatly appreciated. Although we don’t remember any of the names of all who volunteered their help, we won’t forget the kindness shown in that short but stressful time.
Jennifer is doing fine now and does not remember most of what happened. If she did she certainly realize your patience to the disruption caused during your lunch. We hope to be at Carlos O’Kelly’s soon for a quiet, relaxing, delicious lunch.
