• The annual Art in the Garden art show at Toad Hollow Daylily and Iris Farm, 1534 Road 170, will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. In addition to touring the Toad Hollow, owned by Gaylord and Nina West, participants will see the works of 12 local artists on display. The Emporia Arts Council Artmobile will provide hands-on art experiences for children and adults and representatives of Camp Wood will sell food and beverages to raise money for the camp. A silent auction will be held to finance scholarships for students in the ESU Art Department. Admission is free.

• Flint Hills Rodeo performance, 8 p.m., Strong City Arena, includes crowning of the Rodeo Princess contest winner.

• Rodeo Dance with Powder River Band, 10 p.m., Strong City arena.

Sunday

• Rodeo Church Service, 10:45 a.m., Strong City arena.

• Flint Hills Rodeo, 2 p.m., Strong City arena.

• The last day of the Art in the Garden art show at Toad Hollow Daylily and Irish Farm, 1534 Road 170, as detailed above. Take Interstate Highway 35 to Exit 135 and follow the signs.
