Leftover lumber from the playground building project at Peter Pan Park will be used to build park benches for the playground. Construction of the benches will be done between 7 and approximately 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at the shelter house adjacent to the new playground.
Volunteers are needed to help build the benches, and to move them the short distance to the playground.
“If they want to bring their own tools to use themselves, that would be great,” said Denise Dorcey, spokesman for the Peter Pan Playground group.

I forgot to add the type of tools that would be useful to bring are: 10" chop saw, router, electric and battery screw drivers; and hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, tape measures, extension cords and a square.
Thanks again for helping out with the playground, Emporia!
