My “John Wheeler story” will travel with me as I speak to clients across the United States! Last Friday night, our son Josh met us in Emporia to help celebrate Steve’s mother’s birthday. On his way back to Manhattan, Josh hit a deer near Council Grove. The damage to the vehicle left it non-driveable.
Steve and I were almost home when Josh called us, so we turned around and drove to the accident site, arriving at midnight. We had the vehicle towed to Floyd’s Auto Body. We arrived back in Olathe at 3 a.m. At 9 a.m. Saturday morning John called to ask if we were all okay and to let us know that the vehicle was at his shop. I asked him about the estimate and he said he would get it done as quickly as possible. He called at the end of the day to say he did not have time to look at it, but would tomorrow. (I assumed he meant Monday). True to his word, he called Josh in Manhattan and Steve and me in Olathe at 6:30 Sunday evening to let us know he spent the day working on the estimate. WOW!
As I travel around to share leadership and outstanding customer service stories with my clients, I will definitely share my “John Wheeler story”! John far exceeded my expectations and turned a bad situation into a positive experience.

I have dealt with John Wheeler several times, and he has always gone out of his way to be prompt and workman like in his repairs. I would recommend John to anyone who needs auto body work. John gives the Emporia business community a good name.
