Alex Medenciy drained seven 3-pointers, helping Olpe to an easy 76-44 victory over White City on Tuesday at Olpe.
The Eagles jumped out to a fast start, taking a 24-8 lead after the first quarter with the help of nine points from Cole Krueger.
“We ran the floor real well,” Olpe coach Chris Schmidt said. “We were worried about that after the big tournament last weekend, but the kids responded.”
The Eagles outscored White City in each of the final three quarters, helped by Medenciy’s treys.
The 5-foot-10 senior had at least one three in every period, ending with a game-high 23 points.
“He had some good looks and knocked them down,” Schmidt said.
Krueger finished with 21 points, while Josh Klumpe added double figures with 11.

Hartford girls 50, Crest 35
The Hartford girls dominated the first half on their way to a 15-point victory over Crest in Hartford.
The Lady Jaguars took a 10-4 lead after the first quarter before using an 18-7 second-quarter run to take a comfortable 28-11 halftime advantage.
Paige Hamman scored eight of her points in the second half to help Hartford keep its lead.
Hamman and Kellie Farr paced the Lady Jags, scoring 10 points each. Freshman Ashley Preeo added nine points.
Hartford survived despite turning the ball over 30 times.
Crest also had 30 turnovers.

Tenth-ranked Southern Coffey County improved its record to 14-0, taking down Flinthills, 46-9, on Tuesday night in Rosalia.
The Lady Titans dominated the first half, holding the Lady Mustangs scoreless in the second quarter on their way to a 29-2 halftime lead.
Flinthills’ only basket of the first half came from Dani Riemann in the first quarter.
Riemann led Flinthills, scoring five of her team’s nine points. Hope Harsh and Chelsea Fullerton had the other field goals for the Lady Mustangs.
Kristen Garland had 10 points, six rebounds, five steals and five assists to lead SCC.

The Hartford Jaguars faced a 12-point deficit going into the second half against Crest on Tuesday night, and it proved to be more than the Jaguars could handle.
The Jaguars could not come back from the hole, as Crest defeated Hartford, 66-39.
Crest’s Brandon Newton and Todd Johnston led their team to the victory, with Newton supplying 29 of the team’s total points while Johnston followed with a 20-point game.
Hartford’s Justin Farr and Storm Cartee paced the Jaguars’ scoring.
Farr had 15 points, while Cartee finished with an 11-point game.

SCC boys 55, Flinthills 48
Tuesday night’s game ended in defeat for the Flinthills Mustangs, as they lost to Southern Coffey County, 55-48.
Flinthills jumped out to an 11-3 lead after the first quarter, but saw that advantage quickly disappear.
SCC used a 21-12 run in the second period to take a 24-23 halftime lead, then sealed the contest by outscoring Flinthills 19-11 in the fourth quarter.
The Mustangs were led by Garrett Breech and Dalton Skiles, as Breech scored 16 points and Skiles went for 14.
Alongside Breech and Skiles, the Mustangs had some strong play from Tyler Wilson, Ethan Eisenbarth and Grant Vogts. The three finished with the highest number of rebounds for the Mustangs, as both Wilson and Eisenbarth picked up five rebounds and Vogts followed with four rebounds.
