Wednesday: burrito or cereal and graham cookies.
Thursday: funnel cake or cereal and graham cookies.
Friday: little piggy or cereal and graham cookies.
LUNCH
Monday: bosco sticks, marinara sauce, tossed salad, tropical fruit, ice cream cup.
Tuesday: hot ham and cheese sandwich on a bun, mashed potatoes and gravy, broccoli florets and dip, rosy applesauce, oreo cookie.
Wednesday: chicken nuggets, tater tots, dinner roll, corn, peach half.
Thursday: beef taco, soft tortilla, mexican rice, tossed salad, apple wedges.
Friday: chili, Fritos, cinnamon roll, banana, yogurt.
Friendship Meals
Emporia
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: fish, macaroni and tomatoes, broccoli salad, wheat roll, applesauce.
Tuesday: spaghetti with meat sauce, italian vegetables, texas toast, pineapple-mango paradise.
Wednesday: chili, coleslaw, crackers, cinnamon roll.
Thursday: salisbury steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, black bean salad, bread, pears.
Friday: sliced turkey, dressing, gravy, green beans, wheat roll, tropical fruit with mandarin oranges.
North Lyon County
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414; Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: salisbury steak with mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes, vegetables, easy fruit desert.
Tuesday: oven-fried chicken, bread dressing, corn and tomato casserole, wheat bread, blushing pears.
Wednesday: ham and beans, carrots. cornbread, banana salad, sherbet.
Thursday: sliced turkey, sweet potato casserole, italian-blend vegetables, wheat bread, creamy orange salad.
Friday: sloppy joe on a bun, baked beans, lettuce and tomato, fruit cobbler.
