Emporia Schools
BREAKFAST
Monday: in-service day, no school.
Tuesday: cereal and muffin or PopTarts.
Wednesday: drizzled scone or cereal and graham cookies.
Thursday: pizza or cereal and graham cookies.
Friday: ham and cheese biscuit or cereal and graham cookies.
LUNCH
Monday: in-service day, no school .
Tuesday: taco pizza, tossed salad, strawberries, cake, vanilla wafers.
Wednesday: crispito, nacho chips, cheese sauce, tossed salad, pineapple tidbits.
Thursday: turkey fritter, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, dinner roll, peach half.
Friday: kindergarten through sixth grade, hot dog, grades seven through 12, pig in a blanket, fries, baby carrots and dip, mandarin oranges.
Friendship Meals
Emporia
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: Martin Luther King Jr. Day, closed.
Tuesday: scalloped chicken, capri vegetables, wheat roll, melon balls and peaches.
Wednesday: tater tota casseroal, tossed salad, peas, wheat bread, fruit cocktail.
Thursday: beef and broccoli, rice, corn, yeasty roll, cherry crisp.
Friday: roasted pork loin, candied sweet potatoes, winter-blend vegetables, roll, banana.
North Lyon County
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414; Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week.

Wednesday: barbecue riblet, baked potatoes, cucumbers and onions, wheat bread, tropical fruit.
Thursday: creamed chicken, scandanavian-blend vegetables, biscuits, five-cup salad, cake with frosting.
Friday: lemon-baked fish, rice pilaf, green beans, wheat roll, strawberries and bananas.
