TWO WEEKS AGO, I wrote about how our family is hoping to have better luck this year because last year we had a freak fire in the kitchen and a tornado hit an outbuilding.
My bad luck at having unfortunate events made me think of Ben Poersch. Ben works as an engineer for the Railroad. Last year he worked on not just one or two, but he worked on three trains that derailed.
I don’t know the odds of being on three trains that derail in one year but it must be a record. I wonder if Ben is also hoping for a little better luck this year?
