Sesquicentennial book
A meeting to look over items for the book project will be at 6:30 p.m. today in the Methodist Church Annex. The public is invited to attend. For information, Jan Huston (620) 443-5214.
Chamber meeting
Reservations for the annual chamber of commerce dinner and meeting on Jan. 29 may be made at the KansasLand Bank with Jean Winkler or with Melissa Rich (620) 443-5480. Reservations are needed by Jan. 25.
Antique tractors
The annual dinner and meeting will be 6 p.m. Saturday in the Emporia Masonic Temple, 415 Merchant Street. Dr. Don Coldsmith will speak about horses and tractors.
