BREAKFAST

Monday: cereal and muffin or PopTart.

Tuesday: sausage and cheese biscuit or cereal and graham cookies.

Wednesday: drizzled scone or cereal and graham cookies.

Thursday: pizza or cereal and graham cookies.

Friday: pancake stick or cereal and graham cookies.

LUNCH

Monday: chicken patty on a bun, fries, baby carrots and dip, mandarin oranges.

Tuesday: cheese pizza, tossed salad, strawberries, cake, vanilla wafers.

Wednesday: burrito, nacho chips, cheese sauce, tossed salad, applesauce.

Thursday: country steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, dinner roll, corn, peach half.

Friday: little smokies, macaroni and cheese, biscuit, green beans, orange smiles, yogurt.

Friendship Meals

Emporia

Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.

Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

These meals will be served next week.

Monday: sloppy joe on a bun, sicilian-blend vegetables, seasoned diced potatoes, peaches.

Tuesday: baked potato with chicken and cheese sauce, scandanavian vegetables, bread pudding with lemon pudding.

Wednesday: mexican lasagna, tossed salad, corn, wheat roll, fruit cocktail.

Thursday: polish sausage, cabbage, bean salad, bun.

Friday: beef stew, cottage cheese, crackers, pineapple.

North Lyon County

Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414; Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.

Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.

These meals will be served next week.

Monday: chuck wagon steak, baked potatoes, braised cabbage and carrots, wheat bread, frozen fruit salad.

Tuesday: chicken-vegetable casserole, tossed salad with tomates, wheat bread, apricots.

Wednesday: pork roast, candied sweet potatoes, green beans, wheat roll, cinnamon apples

Thursday: swiss steak with tomatoes, potatoes O’Brien, peas and pearl onions, wheat bread, four-fruit compote.

Friday: hot turkey sandwich, mashed potatoes, turkey gravy, beets, pear and cheese salad, strawberry shortcake.
